[Tree of Life] What I believe!

The Holy Bible (with its 66 books) is inspired by God, and is our only standard for life and faith.

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, by whom God the Father, created all things in whom all things are held.

The created purpose of man is to worship God - body, soul and spirit - and to glorify Him with our life and obedience. Man, who is God's creation, sinned against God, separating himself from fellowship with God, bringing a curse of death on himself and on all mankind. Reconciliation with God is made possible by life changing faith in the work of Jesus Christ.

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to earth to redeeme mankind from sin and death, by way of the atonement he made on the cross of Calvary. God then raised Jesus from the dead, and gave Him all authority in Heaven and Earth. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords NOW and FOREVER! Jesus brings to all mankind the Gospel (good news) that God is now giving His Kingdom to us in the form of the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, and we may have it by trusting in Christ and obeying His word. His sacrifice on our behalf has purchased not only our salvation and future in heaven; but also, our healing in body, mind and spirit.

The purpose of the kingdom of God is to manifest the will and glory of God in the earth. The operation of the kingdom of God is to: worship God and proclaim The Gospel and his Word throughout the world, and to glorify God by obedience to Him alone. The kingdom of God is the rule of God in the hearts of those who love and serve Him. It is resident in us by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Christian living is accomplished through walking in the Spirit and being led by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is our empowerment for righteousness, our Teacher, our Comforter, our Guide, and our interceding Advocate.

All Christians are mandated to participate in the Great Commission, especially in taking the Gospel to those who have never heard. In this task each believer is either Sent or a Sender. Senders support those Sent with financial support, prayers and communicating encouragement.
